Destination Tags (or memos) are essential when transacting with XRP in order to identify the correct recipient accounts on exchanges or wallets.
Sending XRP from Rain
When you’re sending XRP from Rain, you should always verify if the recipient wallet or exchange requires a Destination Tag. If so, you should make sure to include the Destination Tag along with your XRP address to ensure the funds are correctly deposited.
