Send XRP

Rain provides an easy way for you to send XRP from your account to any XRP address. 

Requirements:

1. Rain XRP account. You will need a positive balance in your Rain XRP account to be able to send.   
2. Receiving Address. You will need a valid XRP address and a destination tag to send XRP. For more information about destination tag click here.

NOTES:

• Please always check whether or not a destination tag or memo is required before sending XRP to any wallet or exchange outside of Rain. 

• Sending XRP to a wrong address or to an unsupported network will result in a permanent loss of funds. 

NOTE: Please ensure to transfer your XRP through the XRP network only.

Steps (Rain website):

1. Log in to your Rain account. 
2. Click on Portfolio.
3. Enter the XRP amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
4. Enter the XRP address you are sending the funds to.
5. Enter the recipient's destination tag.
6. Select the account you are withdrawing from. Click Preview Send.
7. Review the information on the Confirm Send page. Click Send Now.
8. You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click Submit.

Steps (Rain app):

1. 1. Log in to your Rain account. For more information about the Rain app click here.
   2. Click on Market and Select XRP.
   3. Click on Trade and Select Send.
   4. Enter the XRP amount you want to send from your Rain account.
   5. Enter the XRP address you are sending the funds to or scan the QR code.
   6. Enter the recipient's destination tag.
   7. Select the account you are withdrawing from. Click Preview Send.
   8. Review the information on the Confirmation page. Click on Confirm.
   9. You will receive a the 2FA code to verify your transaction on your phone number or on your Authenticator app.
   10. Enter the 2FA code and Click on Submit.

NOTE: XRP should arrive in 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the network's condition. You can check the number of confirmations on your transaction by checking the transaction explorer.
