How to receive XRP on Rain

Receiving XRP from an external wallet to your Rain wallet can be done through scanning a QR code or by using your XRP wallet address.

Before you start

• Make sure to transfer your XRP through the XRP (Ripple) network only.

• Always include the destination tag to avoid loss of funds.

Here’s how you can receive XRP to your Rain account:

1. Click on "Portfolio."

2. Click on "Receive"

3. Choose one of the following methods to receive XRP:

Method 1: using the QR Code

1. Open your external XRP wallet containing the funds.

2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.

3. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code.

4. Add your destination tag.

Method 2: using your XRP address and destination tag

1. Go to your XRP wallet and select “Trade”.

2. Select “Receive” 

3. Copy your Rain XRP address and destination tag

4. Open your external XRP wallet containing the funds.

5. Paste the address and destination tag into your external XRP wallet.
