Withdrawal bank charges

When withdrawing funds from your Rain account, it's important to understand how bank fees may affect the final amount you receive. Below are the details about possible withdrawal charges.

Local transfers (Bahrain):

No bank charges are applied for BHD withdrawals within Bahrain. You will receive the exact amount withdrawn from your Rain account.

International transfers:

For international withdrawals, Rain processes the amount as withdrawn, but the final amount you receive may differ due to fees charged by intermediary and correspondent banks.

Consider:

  • Withdrawing funds in the same currency as the receiving account to avoid unnecessary conversion fees.

  • Intermediary banks may deduct fees during the transfer, reducing the final amount you receive.

Withdrawal fees for international transfers:

The following fixed charges by Rain apply per currency to cover bank fees:

  • Bahraini Dinar (BHD): No charges for local transfers

  • Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD): KWD 5

  • UAE Dirham (AED): AED 50

  • Omani Rial (OMR): OMR 5

  • US Dollar (USD): USD 15

Note: these fees are collected by correspondent and intermediary banks. Rain does not retain any part of these charges.
