In order to keep your account safe, it is extremely important to exercise caution and to remain vigilant of misleading emails claiming to be from Rain.
Here are a few tips to help you detect phishing scams and validate emails:
Emails: always check the sender's email address. If it's not from @rain.com, it’s likely a phishing attempt.
Websites: verify the URL before entering your account details. Only use https://www.rain.com. Fraudulent websites often have slightly different URLs, so check the spelling carefully. Ensure the website has a secure lock icon (https://) in the URL bar and you can hover over any links before clicking them to ensure their validity.
SMS & Social Media: Rain will never ask for your personal details, OTP or transaction confirmations through the phone, text or social media. Stick to Rain’s official channels:
Telegram: rainfinancial
Facebook: rainfinancial
Instagram: rainfinancial
LinkedIn: rainfinancial
Additionally, to keep your Rain account secured, you should:
Use a password manager.
Only use trusted devices.
Never share authentication codes (OTP) with anyone.
If you suspect a phishing attempt, secure your account by changing your password and contact us immediately through our Support Page.
