At Rain, we aim to provide the best service for our customers by striving to ensure an uptime of 99.99% on an annual basis. However, due to a variety of reasons, sometimes we may experience downtime.
Downtime comes in two varieties: planned downtime and unplanned downtime.
In the case of a planned downtime, customers will be notified at least one week in advance with a set date and time for the outage through Rain, email and our social media platforms like Twitter. This way, we make sure that our customers are aware of the outage and are prepared in advance. Customers will also be reminded of the downtime an hour before the outage on the set date via Twitter or email. You can view the status of our website through our status page.
Unplanned downtime can occur at times as a result of internal or external technical errors. Customers will be notified of the downtime via Twitter and our status page. As the team works on resolving the issue, updates will be posted on an hourly basis to keep customers informed.
