Send XRP from your Rain account

Rain provides an easy way for you to send XRP from your account to any XRP address.

Requirements:

1. Rain XRP account. You will need a positive balance on your Rain XRP account to be able to send.   
2. Receiving Address. You will need a valid XRP address and a destination tag to send XRP.  For more information about destination tag click here

NOTES:

• Please always check whether or not a destination tag or memo is required before sending XRP to any wallet or exchange outside of Rain. 
• Sending XRP to non XRP addresses is not possible, and will result in irreversible loss of funds.

Steps (Rain website):

1. Log in to your Rain account. 
2. Click Transfer Funds at the top the page and choose Send Cryptocurrency.

3a. Enter the XRP amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
3b. Enter the XRP address you will be sending funds to.
3c. Enter the recipient's destination tag.
3d. Select the account you are withdrawing from. Click continue.

4. Review the information on the Confirm Send page. Click continue.

5. You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click Submit. 

Steps (Rain app):

1. Open Rain app. For more information about Rain app click here.
2. Click on the send icon that is showing on the right top corner of the page.

3a. Enter the XRP amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
3b. Select the account you are withdrawing from.

4a. Enter the XRP address that you are sending funds to or you can scan the QR code.
4b. Enter the recipient destination tag (if required). Click continue.

5. Review the information on the Confirm Send page. Click continue.
6. You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click submit.
