Accepted Proof of Address

At Rain, we make sure to apply the industry’s best practices to maintain account integrity. Rain is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), and as per the regulations set forth by the CBB, we are required to request Know Your Customer (KYC) documents from all of our users.

Upon sign-up, you will be asked to provide a proof of address outlining your name and full address. Please note that we do not accept PO Box addresses. 

Here are the most common proof of addresses that you can submit based on your country of residence: 

Saudi Arabia: 

If you are a Saudi national or a resident in Saudi, you can obtain your proof of address from the SPL online. For more details, click here.

Bahrain: 

If you are a Bahraini national or a resident in Bahrain, you can submit one of the following as your proof of address:

• Valid Bahraini driver’s license
• Smart card ID printout
• EWA Bill
• Lease agreement

Kuwait:

If you are a Kuwaiti national or a resident in Kuwait, you can submit the backside of your Civil ID as your proof of address.

Oman:

If you are Omani national or a resident in Oman, you can submit the following as your proof of your address:

• Lease agreement
• Utility bill
•  National ID card (Omani nationals only)
•  Employment letter
•  Bank statement 
• Landline bill

Qatar:

If you are Qatari national or a resident in Qatar, you can submit the following as your proof of your address:

• Employment Letter
• House ownership agreement
• Utility bill
• Phone bill
• Tenancy Contract
• National address certificate from the Metrash2 application
