Receiving Tether (USDT) from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your Rain account Tether address. 

Requirements: 

1. Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive USDT.
2. Rain USDT address. You will need your Rain USDT address in order to receive USDT.

If you want to receive Tether using the Rain app,See below for a step by step guide.

NOTE: Please ensure to transfer your USDT through the ERC-20 network only.

Steps (Rain website): 

1. Log in to your Rain account. 
2. Click on Portfolio.
3. Click on Receive. 

There are two ways to receive Tether in your Rain account, either using your Tether Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

1. Open your external USDT wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.
3. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your Tether address

1. Copy your Rain USDT address under "Receive to".
2. Open your external USDT wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
3. Paste the address into your external USDT wallet.

NOTE: Tether transfers take 10 minutes to 1 hour to arrive. 

Steps (Rain mobile app):

1. Open the Rain app on your phone. For more information about the Rain app click here.
2. Visit the market or portfolio page and select Tether
3. Tap Trade and select Receive

There are two ways to receive Tether in your Rain account, either using your Tether Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

1. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code.

1. Copy your Rain USDT address in the field under "Share your address". 
2. Open your external USDT wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
3. Paste the address into your USDT wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
