Receive Litecoin

 

Receiving Litecoin (LTC) from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your Rain account Litecoin address. 

 

Requirements: 

  1. Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive LTC.
  2. Rain LTC address. You will need your Rain LTC address in order to receive LTC.

Steps (Rain website): 

  1. Log in to your Rain account. 
  2. Click on Portfolio.
  3. Click on Receive. 

There are two ways to receive Litecoin in your Rain account, either using your Litecoin Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

  1. Open your external LTC wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.
  3. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your Litecoin address

  1. Copy your Rain LTC address under "Receive to".
  2. Open your external LTC wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  3. Paste the address into your external LTC wallet.

NOTE: Litecoin transfers take 10 minutes to 1 hour to arrive. 

  

Steps (Rain mobile app):

  1. Open the Rain app on your phone. For more information about the Rain app click here.
  2. Visit the market or portfolio page and select Litecoin
  3. Tap Trade and select Receive

There are two ways to receive Litecoin in your Rain account, either using your Litecoin Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

  1. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your Litecoin address

  1. Copy your Rain LTC address in the field under "Share your address". 
  2. Open your external LTC wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  3. Paste the address into your LTC wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.

NOTE: Litecoin transfers take 10 minutes to 1 hour to arrive.
