Receive litecoin in your Rain account

Receiving litecoin (LTC) from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your Rain account litecoin address. 

Requirements: 

  1. Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive LTC.
  2. Rain LTC address. You will need your Rain LTC address in order to receive LTC.

Steps (Rain website):

  1. Log in to your Rain account. 
  2. Click on the LTC account you would like to fund. 
  3. Click on Receive. 

There are two ways to receive litecoin in your Rain account, either using your Litecoin Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

  1. Open your external LTC wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.
  3. Hold the device camera over the QR code. 

Method 2: Using your litecoin address

  1. Copy your Rain LTC address in the field under "Your Litecoin Address".
  2. Open your external LTC wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
  3. Paste the address into your external LTC wallet.

NOTE: Litecoin transfers take 10 minutes to 1 hour to arrive.

  

Steps (Rain app):

  1. Open the Rain app on your phone.
  2. Click the receive button in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select your LTC account.
