Rain provides an easy way for you to send Ethereum (ETH) from your account to any ETH address.
We only support the ERC-20 network when it comes to ETH transfers. Other exchanges support many other network protocols such as BEP2, BEP20, BSC. We don’t, we only support the ERC-20 network. We also do not support Ethereum Classic or any other ERC-20 token, as they are different coins. We cannot recover any funds if they were sent using the wrong network.
Requirements:
- Rain ETH account. You will need a positive balance on your Rain ETH account to be able to send.
- Receiving Address. You will need a valid ETH address to send ETH.
NOTE: Sending ETH to non ETH addresses is not possible, and will result in irreversible loss of funds.
Steps (Rain website):
- Log in to your Rain account.
- Click Transfer Funds at the top the page and choose Send Cryptocurrency.
3a. Enter the ETH amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
3b. Enter the ETH address you will be sending funds to.
3c. Select the account you are withdrawing from. Click continue.
4. Review the information on the Confirm Send page. Click continue
5. You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click Submit.
NOTE: Ethereum should arrive in 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the network condition. You can check the amount of confirmations on your transaction by checking the transaction details.
Steps (Rain app):
- Open Rain app. For more information about Rain app click here.
- Click on the send icon that is showing on the right top corner of the page.
3a. Enter the ETH amount you want to send or equivalent in the currency you have on your Rain account.
3b. Select the account you are withdrawing from. Click continue.
4. Enter the ETH address that you are sending funds to or you can scan the QR code.
5. Review the information on the Confirm Send page. Click continue.
6. You will receive a code to verify your transaction. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone. Click Submit.
