Account password

Setting your Rain account password is of utmost importance as it plays a major role in determining the overall security of your account. Here are a few tips to help you enhance the security of your Rain account through setting your password:

  • Your password should contain at least 9 characters.

  • Your password should not contain parts of your email address.

  • Your first and last name should not be part of the password.

  • Do not use consecutive characters in your password (for example: “abcd” or “1234”).

  • You have a limit of 100 characters for your password.

  • Your password should not be shared with anyone and Rain will never ask you to share it.


In case you forgot your password, please follow the steps below to change your password:

  1. Click on “Forgot Password?” in the sign-in page as shown below

  1. Enter your email address that is associated with your Rain account and click “Reset Password”

  2. An email will be sent to you within a few seconds including a link for you to click.

  3. Enter your new password and confirm it.

  4. You will be asked to enter a verification code. This code will be sent to you either through SMS or through the authenticator app if you have one installed like Authy or Google Authenticator. 

If you do not receive an email with the link to reset your password, please make sure of the following:

  • Confirm that the email address you typed is correct and does not contain typos.

  • Check your Spam folder or Junk folder.
